Communicate and Verify Design Information to Reduce Cost

Concept models are typically low-cost models used to help communicate or verify design information. Used early in the design process, concept models can reduce costs and shorten development times by making sure everyone is "on the same page". This is particularly true when working with complex shapes and assemblies.

Concept models are usually used where speed and low-cost are more important than cosmetics and accuracy.

Solid Concepts produces Concept Models using PolyJet, SLA and SLS technologies. Concept models are typically produced in one or two working days. This rapid prototype technology has numerous benefits for customers.
