Research and Development

Solid Concepts' commitment to R&D has enabled us to develop new materials such as SC 1000 for SLA QuickCast applications and SC 4500 for general SLA applications, NyTek™ materials for SLS applications, and AFP™ cast urethanes, as well as new processes such as our ID-Light® lightweight models and QuantumCast™ casting process. Used together, these processes and materials open the door to Direct Digital Manufacturing (DDM), which allows for the direct manufacturing of production parts, without the tooling and NRE associated with traditional manufacturing.
